Issue Position

With a great education, our children can become qualified for future jobs in Alaska. From STEM to vo-tech to arts and music, a well-rounded education is worth our investment and helps create a strong economy. Our Alaska Constitution mandates that the legislature provide adequate funding for our public schools. Right now, our legislature ignores that responsibility by flat funding education and giving hundreds of Alaskans pink slips every year.
